Regional NSW – Swimming Pool Surface Preparation

Project Details

Category
  • Surface Preparation

Our client requested a methodology that could remove paint and built up coating to be removed during winter when the normally busy public pool and associated learners pool would be closed and renovated. Removing paint or scale using grit blasting may have meant more containment and post clean up so water jetting was the preferred method. Hitech Industrial Services had performed this type of surface preparation many times since 1991 so we were confident that within the time constraints we were able to work quickly without harming the surface profile and importantly for the client that the process was not harmful to the surrounding environment as it did not require containment or clean up. The end result being a clean surface that was ready for recoating.
